About Us
The Muslim Students’ Society of Nigeria (MSSN), Kano State Area Unit (KNAU), is a vibrant and dynamic Islamic student organization committed to nurturing morally upright, intellectually sound, and socially responsible Muslim youths.
Established in 1977 following the founding of Bayero University, Kano, the Society has since expanded to include numerous branches across secondary schools, tertiary institutions, and local area councils throughout Kano State.
Guided by Islamic values, MSSN Kano Area Unit provides a platform for students to strengthen their faith, develop leadership qualities, and contribute positively to society. Through diverse programs—such as Islamic Vacation Courses, leadership trainings, sisters’ conferences, school lectures, and community outreach—the Society fosters unity, discipline, and purposeful living among Muslim students.
Our headquarters is located at Sarki Adamu Street, off Yahya Gusau Road, behind Salanta Special Primary School, Sharada Phase 1 (Turba), Kano Municipal, where our State Executive Council coordinates activities across the Area Unit.
